We are a non-profit organization working to give the residents of the Flogsta low-houses access to land, equipment and a social network so that they can grow organic fruit and vegetables for themselves and the people around them.
Project Vision
Flogsta Food aims to convert an underused allotment area into community supported fruit and vegetable gardens. The core of the project is a social network that delivers guidance and support for both the production and distribution of organic food. Whether plots are private or open-access, it is believed that Flogsta can become a model for similar neighbourhoods when considering a transition toward energy descent and local resource use.
Location
The garden is located in the Flogsta low-house area (Hamberg) – right behind Flogstavägen 81.
